BASH 82: BFE for Newbies

The title for this week’s show was too hard to pass up; however, the topics are hardly noobish. On BASH we have DaN, the Internal Co-ordinator (i.e. head-honcho) over at the Battle for Europe (BFE) tournament.

BASH Show notes

In the CoD scene, BFE has been around for almost five years! In that time they have been sold to MyIS, run tournaments in CoD2 and CoD4 and now, as DaN explains, the BFE juggernaut is heading to CoD:WW.

With only a few weeks at being at the helm of BFE, DaN tells us what it’s like to be running one of the most successful online tournaments in CoD. Find out what goes on behind the scenes at BFE and what they have in store for their membership in today’s program.

Battle for Europe is a great online experience, somewhere between an FPS and an MMO. It’s open to players on both sides of the Atlantic, so if you want to know more about what it takes to join BFE, read here.

BASH 81: CoD Downunder

Today we have a shoutcasting legend from “down-under” on the program.

He’s the online manager at Gamestah.com, one of the premiere eSports sites in all of Australia, BASH is proud to welcome Skip Fulton, who goes by one of the best gaming tags I’ve heard of in a while, Momo Wang.

The work that Gamestah does with Australian and New Zealand gaming communities is legendary. Gamestah goes well beyond the call of duty, pardon the pun, to cater to fans of online gaming.

On this podcast, Skip explains his role at Gamestah and tells us what the site’s mission statement is all about.

As well, “Momo” as he is known, tells us something about the shoutcasting business. How did he learn to be a shoutcaster? What does he do to prepare?

…everything you budding shoutcasters want to know from someone who has been there and done that.

Starting off from where our friend Phil (Deathadder, from Singapore) left off in BASH 76: Little Red Dot, Skip fills us in on the small but energetic gaming scene in Australia and New Zealand.

Find out what’s going on in CoD half-way around the world on today’s webcast!
