We are previewing the LAN season in Europe today by bringing together an all-star team of panelists to handicap the UK and Continental teams that will be playing in them.

Two of the best players in North America, Ted (w!$eGuY) from The Evil Geniuses and Joe (Nabore) from Team Pandemic are on the webcast along with Richard Armstrong (_evan) CoD4 writer for SK-Gaming.com.

Joe and Ted will soon be off on an excellent adventure as their teams head to Europe next week to play in the most lucrative CoD4 LANs in the world.

We discuss which tournaments they will be participating in and we speculate on the kind of a reception they expect to receive. As well, we take advantage of Richard’s expert knowledge of the Old-World CoD4 scene by asking him to give us a scouting report of the top ten teams in CoD4 Europe.

Find out what everyone thinks about the Europeans and in turn…what Europe’s CoD4 community thinks about the North American players.

Finally, we hear if EG and Team Pandemic superfanboi, Framp, can pick which team he likes better.

Luke (aka MajorD), administrator of the campaign-style online tournament for CoD4 Call To Arms: Eastern Crisis which can be found at ctagames.net is on and he will describe how he is integrating HoB4 right into his online multiplayer campaign game for CoD4.

A few of the guys from EG have graced us by coming on the program to discuss how exactly they got to the top of the heap in North American CoD4.

With us from EG are fellow Torontonians…Rob (aka Rob-Wiz) and his teammate Ted (W!$eGuy).

We find out the circumstances behind Rob joining EG. As well, the EG guys talk to us about their LAN experiences in Europe, especially their incredible game at I33 with Tek-9.

We explore their matches with North American rivals Team Pandemic this year at NERV’s 1 and 2 and of course online in CEVO-P. We try to find out why EG plays TP so tough. Finally, we discover that EG is making a huge swing through Europe this year, starting on July 21st. In this installment of our series on populating your server, we have on Oliver, aka Taco, from the 420th.

The 420th is run by map-modder Fritz (fritzmods.com) and his good friend Taco who serves as the “face” of the 420th.

I talk to Taco and ask him what sets his server apart from all the other CoD servers in the world.

What makes the 420th servers so popular? It all comes down to knowing what people want and giving it to them - as simple as that. What people want from the 420th is:

a) Capture the Flag, and

b) Fun, off-the-beaten path, maps.

As well, a huge advantage for the 420th is that they run very unique and fun maps. And to enhance the “fun”, the server admin policies are quite loose and this promotes a very relaxed gaming experience. Remember, you can find even more tips on populating your servers here:
