This week we invite Norm (aka Norminator), our newly appointed forum moderator to come on and help us introduce you to our brand new web portal:

BASHandSlash.com

Norm and I let all our BASH listeners know about the exciting news that we have finally integrated all the old BASH websites under one roof: BASHandSlash.com.

Now…your only one click away from access to the whole BASH network.

The webcast will still be called BASH and BASHandSlash.com will link you right to it. You will also find the show notes there. Slash refers to all our written word content (blogs, faqs…etc.) will also be found on BASHandSlash.com. Put them together and you get BASH and SLASH!

Given that we also have lots of video on the site, you can look at us as a TV, radio station and newspaper for the FPS community all rolled into one.

With the introduction of our new portal, I think it’s a good time to explain our mission here on the world wide webways…

BASHandSLASH’s goal is to increase community awareness of the work, skill and efforts put into building and maintaing the online FPS gaming hobby.

What will BASHandSLASH.com be about?

We want to be the VOICE of the FPS gaming community. A place where you can find out what is going on in your favorite game so you can feel like you’re part of a greater whole.

Norm let’s us in on another cool thing we are doing on BASHandSlash.com, he introduces us to the Call of Duty Hall of Fame.

The Call of Duty Hall of Fame recognizes individual achievement in the CoD community. Now you can nominate the person you think has done the most to improve your gaming experience. Details are at BASHandSlash.com, read them by clicking the link above.

In this episode we also debut the new eXtreme+ Theme Song, by DJ {PST}Skeebo to celebrate eXtreme+’s new website, mycallofduty.com. Come to the BASHBoards and listen to it on our jukebox!

We of course also honor Paulo88 also from eXtreme+ who won the BASHIE design contest last week.
